Why is this clinical study being done?

This clinical study will allow researchers to learn about the effect of getting the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine at the same doctor visit in boys and girls ages 9-11. SARS-CoV-2 is the virus that causes COVID-19, which can affect the lungs, heart, and entire body. HPV is a common virus that can cause genital warts and some cancers, such as certain types of cervical cancer.

Your child may qualify to take part in this study if they:

o Are 9-11 years old
o Have not gotten any doses of the HPV or COVID-19 vaccines
o Have not had an infection with HPV or COVID-19
o Have a parent or legal guardian who:

• Will attend all study visits
• Agrees that the study doctor or staff may be in contact during the study
